It has never been easier to find a foreign bride and this is an option that many men are choosing. If they are finding it hard to meet the right person in their own country many will turn to websites offering Russian brides. Not only will these sites match you with a girl but they will also help you with every step from initial contact right through to marriage and immigration.
Many men chose girls from Russia as they have much more tradition values than women from the USA and the UK. Once married most girls move to the country of their new husband. This can be quite a change from what they are used to.
When they move country these girls are leaving behind everything that they have ever known. It is not just their family and friends but their complete way of life. It is important that this transition is made as easy as possible for her.
While a big welcome party might seem like a good idea this could be overwhelming for a girl who has just stepped off the plane. It would be easier for her to meet your friends and family in smaller groups over time rather than all at once.
If she is not fluent in your local language then it would be a good idea to arrange for some language tuition. Being able to speak the local language proficiently will help to build her confidence and make her feel less isolated in her new country.
Rather than immediately returning to work and leaving her to find everything out for herself take some time to show her around the area. Include the places that she will use often such as the local shops, parks, hairdressers and anywhere else she might need. Again this will help her to feel familiar in her new surroundings and increase her confidence.
It is very important to get the paperwork sorted out as soon as you can. All her residency papers, medical cover and other important documents should be dealt with quickly. Once all this is sorted she will start to feel more a part of both the country and your family. Doing these things will help her transition but the most important thing you can do is simply be there for her when she needs you and understand the feelings that she is having.
